We all love our homes to smell good at all times of the day and year. How about making your own homemade air freshener? In this article, we are going to offer you some recipes that will enchant you!

Indeed, when we want to buy certain products that bring a good smell to the house, we realize that they are very expensive and that they do not last long enough.

Steps to make an air freshener at home

Bad odors are a common problem in every home. But if you don’t want to use chemicals, you can make air fresheners yourself.

Of course, it is better to make a homemade air freshener rather than using industrial products.  Especially if there are children in your home, or sick, allergic or asthmatic people.

The ingredients that can be used are varied: citrus fruits, spices, extracts… You will just need a saucepan, a container and a wooden spoon.

Just put all the ingredients in the container and then cover with water. Then heat until the liquid reduces by half and you start to smell the aroma of the mixture.

Let cool and put the glass bottle where you want to diffuse the scent. You can cover the bottle and make holes for the scent to diffuse.
